This new technical solution proposed by Lanfranchi has been realized to answer to some specific market requests, such as quick change-over, medium-low production speed.
TWISTER MACHINE is the right machine for the customer who asks for frequent and quick change-overs and wants to restart without any production loss.
Twister machine can be applied to the following unscrambler models:
RM-STD, RM-MAXI, RC 2400, RC 2600, L1-STD.
Production speeds are those indicated in Lanfranchi UNSCRAMBLER general catalogue.
“Twister machine” does not use the traditional unscrambling system (channels) but a new technological device: an intelligent vacuum star-wheel (same patent of the vacuum star-wheel) with the installation of a series of brushless motors, that have the function to rotate and rise the sucking manipulators according to the bottle size that is being handled. Bottles are selected in the internal part of the unscrambler and arrive to the reading station in a horizontal position, where a photocell detects its position.
The information is then processed and sent to the intelligent star wheel that takes the bottles and turn them 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise and then release them in vertical position on the outlet conveyor.
